Hey folks!  I'm back home after my visit to the parents.  Anyway, saw Neil Diamond in concert last night.  The show was at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.  And there was quite a crowd to see him!  I'd heard the show was sold out, and there was at least 12,000 people there!  Dad had gotten floor seats, one row behind the sound engineers.  Anyway, Neil Diamond put on a good performance.  Pretty awesome for a man his age (he's at least 70!).  Probably the highlight of the show was when he sang "Sweet Caroline," and got great audience participation.  Also when he did "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon."  At one point, he was singing directly to a lady at the front of the stage!  After that song, he said, "I couldn't hear a word she said, but I knew everything she meant!"  All in all, Dad and I had a good time.
