OK, here's the latest developments on my technical difficulties.  My dad came in this morning to pick up the iMac, and take it to the shop.  He says we won't know anything until Thursday.  In the meantime, I'm trying to use my laptop to go online.  I was able to hit the Web this morning all right, although I had to adjust the cables correctly.  This afternoon, though, I couldn't get online.  I tried to log on earlier tonight, but wasn't really able to until just now.  For the meantime, I'm hoping getting online won't be too much of a hassle.

does seem something to have a little concern and wonder about internet connection but, how operative is the LapTop?

What shop did you send, a professional Apple shop? I fear it's going to be very expensive by the time the repair fees come out. Hopefully it's cheaper if you take it to a normal PC shop with someone who has experience in repairing Macs.

My dad's taking care of that.

Wow, he can fix it? Now that's great, moreover, hopefully free of charge (Unless is parts replacement of course). :)

I mean, he's taking it to the shop. If he says I should pitch in bill, I'll see about paying.

Let's hope that it won't be an Apple store, but through with a strongly experienced technician.
